Sweep 1 - Straight chisel

The straight tool has a body placed in the centre line of the handle making for high cutting power. The blade does not bend during carving. Widths greater than 20 mm are intended for preparation of the work, while those less than 16 mm are for finishing.
The chisel has the special feature of an oblique cutting edge for cutting into the bottom of angles for carving work.
High quality polished HSS chisel with octagonal beech handle.
The heat treatment of the blade (58-60HRC) guarantees excellent durability.
Uses : arched shapes, straight cuts, lettering and geometric sculptures as well as engravings. For striking and clearing of patterns.
