Sweep 41 - Straight V tool

The straight tool has a body placed in the centre line of the handle making for high cutting power. The blade does not bend during carving.
The blade ends in a V-shaped cutting edge, its tip has a slightly rounded or sharp angle. This tool is designed to carve straight lines as well as curves, it is often used by sculptors and furniture restorers.
High quality polished HSS V tool with octagonal beech handle.
The heat treatment of the blade (58-60HRC) guarantees excellent durability.
Use : preparation of contours for relief , carving lines, lettering and working mouldings.
